It is rare that a totally new concept is introduced to the Picture Framing Industry with such glamour and diversity of use. Mat Shimmers®  is just that, a new concept that adds an elegant shimmering effect to a framed piece. They are highly polished tiny glass spheres made in the USA from recycled glass. When applied to a mat board, they refract light while the color of the mat board shines through resulting in a subtle shimmer effect. The Ideas Gallery highlights some applications.
